If you wait for one casting news story, three will come in a space of 24 hours.
After reports of John David Washington and Robert Pattinson will be the male leads of Christopher Nolan’s next film, it was revealed Elizabeth Debicki has secured the female lead.
Variety, who broke the story, also confirmed Collider’s story of the British actor Pattinson has signed on to star in one of the most coveted projects in Hollywood currently.
The choice of Debicki is a great one after a fantastic rise to fame with films like Widows and Netflix’s Cloverfield Paradox. She also voiced a character in Peter Rabbit (but the less said about that film the best) as well as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

The Australian actress has found small-screen success with The Night Manager and upcoming series Lovecraft Country.
We’ll next get the chance to see her as Virginia Woolf opposite Gemma Arterton in Vita & Virginia.
The plot for Nolan’s next cinematic experience is still under wraps as the filmmaker has recently finished his script. But at this rate, we’ll know another piece of casting and the plot by the end of the week.
Warner Bros has slated a release date of July 17, 2020.
