How The DC FanDome Hall Of Heroes Panel Could Plan Out

As the official news of DC FanDome spends and get fans excited this could be the perfect opportunity for Warner Bros and DC to have their own D23/ Star Wars Celebration.

The most significant part of the story was the reveal of Hall of Heroes as it’ll showcase all the panels, reveals and special programming.

This will be the home for all the DC-Based Films, and HBO Max will be the major focus of the whole convention to get people excited to sign up using a couple of properties.

Before I start, I’d like to say I believe at the second stage DC WatchVerse should be showcasing the future of the DC Animated movies and what we can expect.

However, as reported by Vanity Fair, this won’t be one giant zoom call but something “more akin to Fortnite or the little kids’ virtual playground Roblox.

“A digital world with maps of events that visitors can explore and attend, along with hidden treasures, secret rooms, and presentations to discover” stated one source to the highly regarded entertainment trade.

The why of presentation in this digital world sounds a lot like a real-life Ready Player One as we will be able to “navigate through this virtual world from a real-person perspective.”

What’s exciting is how the panels will be shown as speakers will appear “as holograms instead of via laptop cam videos from their homes” which sounds so fucking dope!

Now onto the Hall of Heroes, it is believed all of the films mentioned previously in the press release will have panels with director and casts. For a bit of fun, this is how it could play out (in my head at least).

Firstly we need the most electrifying man in the world to kick things off. Have Dwayne Johnson to get the fans pumped the only way he knows how. Talking about Black Adam (joking about how long it’s taken to get to shooting), joined by director Jaume Collet-Serra to reveal some casting. Ending his section by shit-talking about Shazam, only for Zachary Levi to appear.

This can quickly lead to Levi briefly talking about the sequel to Shazam.

Next up should be James Wan and Jason Momoa talking about Aquaman, talking about the billion-dollar success of the first film. The pressure is on and focusing on the sequel with little details (the script is close to finish and production to start next year hopefully).

Additionally, it’d be great to know what’s happening with The Trench with maybe info on a director.

We finally get more news about what’s happening with The Flash as director Andy Muschietti can hopefully reveal more details. It would be wonderful if Christina Hodson is part of the panel to know what’s happening with Batgirl.

Finally, again it would be wonderful if this was a gateway for Cathy Yan thanking fans for their support of Harley Quinn & The Birds of Prey. Then drop the bomb that she’s excited to be working with either the Birds on a sequel or to continue Harley’s story of becoming a siren.

James Gunn should be up next and joined by some of his many cast members talking about The Suicide Squad, and it’d be nice to know some of the characters the cast are playing ending with the reveal of Idris Elba.

Gunn ends his segment the first teaser trailer of The Suicide Squad.

Penultimately, Matt Reeves appears from the shadows to talk about how excited he is to bring The Batman into Halloween, maybe joined by Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz. We finally get a full look at that beautiful batsuit but think it’s time to showcase his other stars.

We get our first looks at Kravitz (Catwoman), Paul Dano (The Riddler), Colin Farrell (Penguin), Andy Serkis (Alfred) and Jeffery Wright (Jim Gordon) in full costume for the first time.

Finally, end the film section with Patty Jenkins’s Wonder Woman 1984, joined by her cast, they talk about the movie and the standard panel bits and pieces. Then end it with a brand new trailer.

As I stated above, HBO Max gets co-top billing, and that’s what happens next.

Greg Berlanti, the busiest man in Hollywood, is joined by Geoff Johns and they discuss Green Lantern Corps and what fans can expect as they reveal not only the lead Lanterns but also who’s will play them.

Afterwards, Berlanti stays on stage for Strange Adventures and again talk about the Adam Strange series and what to expect, but this time no casting.

JJ Abrams talks about his plans for Justice League Dark and announces John Boyega will be John Constantine (wishful thinking but you tell me you don’t want that).

Then HBO Max Chief Content Officer Kevin Reilly appears to excitingly talk about the plays for DC properties on the streaming service. My hope he announces a new series in the form of an R-rated animated Injustice series and that the original voice cast from the animated Justice League is coming back.

Also, that season four of Young Justice will be an HBO Max exclusive.

Finally, it’s the moment everyone has been waiting for as the messiah rises again as Zack Snyder talks about his Justice League officially announcing if it’s a limited series or long film.

I’d even surprise fans by having a full panel with the cast because you know they would.

Snyder ends the panel with the trailer for Justice League to the joy of the world.

However, it won’t be the official end for the Hall of Heroes as we hear the laughter of Jared Leto’s Joker and we see an updated version of the original 2016 teaser trailer and a 2021 release date for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad.
