It’s been an incredible week for Phoebe Waller-Bridge. She’s won two (six overall) Emmys for her creation Fleabag – Outstanding Comedy Series and Lead Actress in Comedy Series – and Jodie Comer won the Lead Actress award for Waller-Bridge’s other creation Killing Eve.
Days later, Variety revealed Waller-Bridge has inked an overall deal with Amazon Studios to create and produce new TV content for Amazon Prime with the deal worth around $20 million.
If that wasn’t enough the Daily Mail is reporting that the 34-year-old is being courted to write Bond 26.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is having the biggest, baddest boss week ever!

Having previously brought in to handle script polishing duties for Bond 25, now titled No Time To Die. Mainly focusing on ‘punch up’ the female dialogue, she ended up handling the male dialogue too and ‘across the whole script’.
The news was broken by the Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye, who should be trusted when it comes to Bond as he’s broken more news then anyone.
Bamigboye states that the Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have been impressed with her work.

A source close to the project said “Phoebe’s contribution was great – far greater than we’d anticipated. She’s the saviour of Bond, really. She was across the entire script.”
While pre-production and filming for No Time To Die has been on a bumpy start, losing directors, bringing in Waller-Bridge, Daniel Craig breaking limbs. It seems the writer’s involvement has been nothing but enjoyable for the production.
“Phoebe’s been having the best time; and the joy has sprinkled down,” the source added. “At first, no one knew what was going on. Now everyone’s happy. This is going to be a great Bond.”
It’s all a wait and see as if the trailer (we could be released next week as it’s ready to go) does its job and gets fans excited and talked about on social media.
Then we leave the theatre having an unbelievable time and it becomes a massive box office success then Waller-Bridge will write the next Bond movie and introducing us to the new James Bond.
As Broccoli has confirmed Craig will be hanging up the tux after his latest adventure.

No Time To Die is set to land in the UK on April 3 and April 8 in the US.
