During programming of WWE’s Crown Jewel event, a massive announcement was made as this year’s Survivor Series will be the battle of three brands as NXT comes to challenge Raw and Smackdown in their first-ever major main roster PPV.
It will cap off an incredible weekend for the yellow and black brand as TakeOver: War Games 3 will be on the night before featuring not only the men’s Wargames but also the first-ever women’s Wargames.
While I do worry about the freshness of the NXT wrestlers as 90% of them will be involved in both shows. There’s a real possibility the third brand will end the night on top and will be a showcase for a lot of these superstars.
All of the Undisputed Era will be in the Wargames match before taking part in their respective champions match. Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish will be in the Tag match against Raw title holders Viking Raiders and Smackdown Champions The Revival.

Meanwhile, Roderick Strong will take his North American title into the midcard champion match against United States Champion AJ Styles and Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
However, this is one of the two I could see change as we currently have three heels so there’s a real possibility that one of these wrestlers could lose their title. On the other hand, I hope they don’t as this has the potential to be an incredible match.
Elsewhere, the women’s match has the potential to steal the show when you think of who’ll be involved. Becky Lynch (Raw Champion) is WWE’s biggest superstar, Bayley (Smackdown champion) is at the beginnings of her heel run and Shayna Baszler (NXT champion) is the most dominant woman in the NXT women’s division.

There’s also the perfect foundation for a returning Ronda Rousey due to her connection to fellow four horsewoman Baszler and start her revenge on Lynch to set up a Wrestlemania match.
Finally, in the men’s champions match, Adam Cole will represent NXT in the biggest match of his career against the likes of WWE champion Brock Lesnar and Universal champion The Fiend Bray Wyatt.

This is another match that could change mainly around the Universal title and if Seth Rollins regains because I don’t see these as the place to have The Fiend and Lesnar face off for the first time and be a waste of Cole.
If anything I could see Wyatt lose the Universal title before Survivor Series and begin to focus on Lesnar and the WWE championship as a build-up to a Wrestlemania match.
Then you have the two traditional survivor series matches and when it comes to the women the five wrestlers would’ve likely fought each other the night before as you could say, depending on injuries, you’ll be picking the team made of a number of these superstars.
Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Candice LaRae, Io Shirai, Dakota Kai, Mia Yim and Tegan Nox.
All incredible wrestlers but their storyline will likely be of one of people who kicked the crap of each other the night before now having to work as a team and failing.
The same can be said of the men’s match as NXT roster is an abundance of riches. As we could see a team, again depending on injuries, of Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne, Matt Riddle, Velveteen Dream, Dominic Dijakovic, Keith Lee, Kushida and Finn Balor.
Whatever happens, it’s going to be an incredible 48 hours for the yellow and black brand and the future of a number of these wrestlers to possibly move to Raw and Smackdown.
Additionally, even with War Games, I still think NXT has a chance of winning Survivor Series.
