I’ll continue to say it whenever I review these movies, but DC and their animation genre are why I love films and animation. Plus, DC are always able to smash it out of the park.
However, after a great start, the Tomorrowverse and their Elseworld projects have dropped and missed the mark. Granted, the last film I saw was Green Lantern and while I loved John Stewart, I didn’t think much of it.
Sadly, it’s happened again in Justice League: Warworld.
The biggest issue being I have yet to learn what the film was about. I had a rough idea of what Warworld was, thanks to the Justice League Animated two-parter, but this completely confused me.
The movie is largely split into three short films in different genres and don’t get me wrong, seeing Wonder Woman in a Western was cool. I would’ve happily watched a feature-length version of it.

Meanwhile, Batman was in a Conan The Barbarian world, which was weird. Finally, Superman was in a 1950s Americana alien invasion, and again I would be interested to see it as an Elseworlds.

Yet all three together in this movie just made no sense, and I sadly lost interest.
The brightest sparks were the brilliant voice cast and the animation style, and seeing Lobo again injected some much-needed humour.
Does The Blu-ray have Bonus Features?
Yes, there are two featurettes on the making of the film.
Verdict
A complete disappointment.
